SAFE AND HARD-WEARING INSULATION, EVEN AT HIGH-TEMPERATURES

At present, many furnaces have insulating linings made of refractory ceramic fibres. This technology resists temperatures up to 1400°C. However, their constituent fibres are classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic and toxic to reproduction (CMR). Two substitute technologies now exist: polycrystalline fibres and high-temperature bio-based fibres. Yet the cost of the former is rather high and the latter cannot withstand temperatures exceeding 1150°C, under favourable conditions.

It is against this backdrop that our new PUREBLOX 1400 technology was created. It meets the new health and safety, environmental, technical and economic challenges of the industrial sector.

PUREBLOX 1400 solution :

INSTALLING PUREBLOX 1400 INSULATION BLOCKS IN YOUR FURNACES IS REALLY QUITE SIMPLE.

  1. First, our engineering office conducts an on-site feasibility study.
  2. After a technical and thermal survey on each piece of equipment has been conducted, the blocks are put into production.
  3. Lastly, TRB teams carry out the final installation. They take charge of dismantling your old installation.

This solution has been devised to make implementation easier and to optimise assembly times.

At the end of the furnace lining's life cycle, the PUREBLOX 1400 will not be affected by the compulsory and fastidious procedures dictated by hazardous waste treatment regulations.

THE PUREBLOX 1400 SOLUTION HAS MANY ADDITIONAL EXCEPTIONAL FEATURES:

As thick as current insulation (310 mm), TRB's PUREBLOX 1400 offers cumulative thermal insulation equivalent to CRM-classified ceramic fibres. A PUREBLOX 1400 brick does not pose any risk to the health of operators and withstands temperatures up to 1400°C.
