For nearly 80 years, TRB has been developing refractory solutions designed to meet the challenges of high-temperature industries.

Formulated from silico-aluminous materials and specific compounds such as silicon carbide, graphite or zircon, our products meet the most complex requirements. In addition to manufacturing, we support steelworks, foundries, cement plants and special furnaces with a range of customized services.

Our human-scale approach means that we are close to our customers and responsive to their needs, while enabling our teams to provide personalized support. With 75% of our sales generated internationally, we provide global expertise and ongoing support, anywhere in the world.

Each project is designed to optimize refractory usage costs and improve plant performance. Laboratory, design office and engineering team up to design reliable, durable and innovative solutions, to guarantee our customers a lasting competitive advantage.

Product design and manufacture

The sector's laboratory develops and perfects a range of environmentally-friendly products. Scientific partnerships are also entered into in the form of research contracts with external bodies (universities, laboratories, engineering schools, etc.).

Engineering

A department draws up calculation notes, diagrams and plans, enabling us to offer customers concerted upgrades to their equipment and installations. In addition, our experience in numerical simulation enables us to develop refractory behavior models for our customers' sensitive applications.

OUR PRODUCTION

Located in the north of France, near the town of Boulogne-sur-Mer, TRB benefits from large-scale production infrastructures, optimized to meet the needs of industry.

The manufacture of monolithics (40,000 T) and shaped parts (3,000 T) is based on two modernized production sites, integrating several workshops.

To meet its customers' performance requirements, TRB also implements a very rigorous system for selecting raw material suppliers, as well as regular checks throughout the manufacturing process, which have also enabled the company to be among the first to receive ISO 9001 V2015 certification.

Finally, a proven logistics organization enables the refractory industry to source and sell in over 35 countries on 5 continents.
